Based on OmniVision’s OV9732 sensor, this FPC camera module features comprehensive and balanced parameter configurations, making it suitable for embedded vision scenarios. Its core strengths and objective characteristics are as follows:
Core Advantages
  1. Practical Imaging Performance: Equipped with 3μm large pixels + OmniPixel®3-HS technology and 10-bit RAW output, it delivers excellent noise control in low light and reliable detail/color reproduction. With TV distortion <1% and an 80° field of view, the images are true-to-life without distortion.
  1. Easy Adaptability: The DVP parallel interface is compatible with mainstream MCUs/processors, requiring no custom drivers and boasting a low development threshold. The COB+AA manufacturing process balances miniaturization and structural stability, while the FPC design adapts to diverse installation spaces.
  1. Compliant and Reliable: Certified by CE, FCC, RoHS, and REACH, it ensures strong quality consistency in mass production and meets environmental and compliance requirements across multiple regions.
Objective Limitations
  1. The fixed-focus design only supports the core depth of field range of 15cm~40cm, unable to meet long-distance or zoom needs.
  1. The 1MP resolution (720@30FPS) focuses on practical scenarios and is not suitable for ultra-high-definition image quality requirements.
  1. The DVP interface has limited bandwidth, making it difficult to support extended demands for higher frame rates or resolutions.
Selection Recommendations
Suitable for: Short-to-medium distance fixed-shooting scenarios such as smart parcel lockers, small security devices, smart home control panels, and portable medical imaging. It is particularly ideal for embedded projects with clear requirements for cost, development efficiency, and compliance.
Not recommended for: Scenarios requiring 4K ultra-high-definition output, zoom functions, long-distance (>40cm) shooting, or high-speed data transmission.
